Build Foundational Leadership Skills for School Improvement
The Leadership Institute is a 4-day intensive training session designed to help school leaders at all levels (e.g., principals, assistant principals, other school leadership team members) build the foundational knowledge needed to create high-quality educational experiences for all students.
Through live virtual sessions, you’ll develop proficiency in strategic planning, leading effective teams, building data-driven cultures, and strengthening school culture.
Pricing:
$1,500 per participant
All Leadership Institute sessions take place in a virtual classroom; there are no additional travel costs. Eligible alumni get a 20% discount.
How it Works
The 2026 Leadership Institute will take place July 13-16 or August 3-6.
The Leadership Institute consists of full days (~9:00 am-4:00 pm CT). These sessions take place in a live, virtual classroom with a nationwide cohort. Participants get the most out of the Institute when they have off-campus time for this work, so please connect with your manager and/or team to ensure there is a plan for you to participate fully on the above dates.
Content is based on strengthening your skills in:
- Strategic Planning: Create a data-driven, focused School Strategic Plan based on your school’s unique context that address your school’s highest priorities
- Leading Effective Teams: Build, align, and empower high-performing adult teams
- Data-Driven Culture: Establish systems for using data to inform decisions and monitor progress
- Strengthening School Culture: Leverage change management strategies to develop positive, equitable school culture
During the Institute, you’ll assess and reflect on the current state of your school and your own personal leadership skills. With the support of the Accelerate Institute coaching team, you will also develop a School Strategic Plan based on your school’s unique context and your role within the school as well as a customized Leadership Development Plan that drives meaningful progress toward school and personal leadership goals.
